19th July 2017 – Lekir Energy participated in the annual Hari Raya event on 19th July 2017, organised by Kuala Lumpur Section Society of Petroleum Engineers (KLSSPE). The event hosted the key O&G players in the industry which included Petronas and Schlumberger. Lekir Energy co-sponsored the event in collaboration with UTM.
15th-16th July 2017 – Co-sponsored and assisted a two day (15th-16th July 2017) CSR project in collaboration with UKM-GBS students in Sungai Petani, Kedah to promote the use of palm oleo-chemical products in the form of wax candles and palm milk as a healthy alternative to coconut milk. The event was held to officiate the business model made by UKM-GBS by encouraging the disabled community in the socio economic agenda. The workshop was a hands-on approach to help engage the members of the Bengkel Daya in Sungai Petani. Lekir Energy pledged to support the business model which has been proposed by the team. In addition to the candle craft workshop, the team also extended towards the community by volunteering help to the village in cooking and community clean up. We received an overwhelming response from the community.
14th -16th February 2017 – Conducted a Team Building activity with the Lekir Energy staff at Citra Kasih, Pengkalan Balak, Melaka on the 14th-16th February 2017. We had classroom presentations by our RAs from UTM Skudai office on their current research work and safety report & awareness. Our CEO, En Abu Talib also briefed us on the latest update of the company and future businesses. We also have outdoor activities like sailing demo and speed boat riding participated by all staff. This meet also acted as an ice breaker/meet & greet as this is the first gathering held by Lekir Energy attended by all staffs and advisors.
January 2017 – An annual international sailing event conducted in Langkawi. Promotion of the company to an informal international audience throughout the event through placement of company’s logo on a participating boat.
